70's Trend || Street style inspo

There really is no shying away with fashion this season as the 70's is back; so get your trend on with wide leg flares, tassels/fringing galore, double denim, an array of sepia tones and don't forget - suede is the new leather. Admittedly though the 70's trend may be a step away from most of our comfort zones with such bold out there statement trends. Flared trousers for one are a definite daunting silhouette; especially when straight lined figure hugging skinny jeans have been a wardrobe staple for so long. Converting to the dark side in a more unfitted number is undoubtedly a nervy move but wide leg flares are actually way more flattering than first anticipated giving that timeless elegant glamour vibe. We've scouted the net in search of some street style inspo for this fashion forward trend...

NYFW || A/W Trends

Although A/W 15 may seem a million miles away, the trends featuring on the catwalk are actually closer than you might think with many creeping their way into high street stores for the current season now.  Hue's of orange and "rust" shades are the colours to look out for whilst monochrome is bigger than ever. The seventies vibe is also in full swing seeing flares, fur and flamboyant prints be a key feature. Cobalt blue was also heavily featured during NYFW, however we think this trend will definitely be one for the more colder winter months!

LFW || A/W 15 trends

Although fashion week has been and gone (sob!) we are still majorly crushing over A/W 15 trends spotted fresh off the catwalk. Luckily for us our fashion designer Jess was there to witness it all and so here she gives us the lowdown on what is set to be hot for Autumn/Winter 2015.

Colour co-ordinate

Gone are the days of dressing around multiple colours and listening to key fashionista rules such as never match all your accessories in the same colour because FYI; matching your whole outfit head to toe in one colour is set to be big this upcoming Autumn/Winter. If colour is a bit shy in your wardrobe and monochrome is more up your street then do not fear - white dominated the runway this LFW and is set to be bigger than ever in the A/W's colour palette.

Luxe Leather

Leather is a trend we always see come back around in the fashion world but this upcoming season is set to be bigger than ever. Leather dresses and skirts in particular are set to be a real staple this Autumn/Winter.

Western Hippie

Fringe detailing and suede is huge at the moment stepping into spring/summer; so it was no surprise that this trend continued to dominate the catwalk for A/W 15. Burberry's show in particular confirmed this with the western hippie theme being a massive focus.

Sixties Scene
 Old fashion trends are a continual re-occurrence in the fashion world. This time it's the return of the 60's with high neck lines, long sleeves and A-line skirts looking to be key.

What A/W 15 trend are you looking forward to the most?
