There's no hiding away from the fact that the 70's trend is dominating the fashion world right now. And although at first the thought of  flares, tassels, fringing and out there prints may have been somewhat daunting, the seventies time warp has been the style overhaul our wardrobe has long been crying out for. There's something about summer that screams fresh faced glowing dewiness (especially as we start to up our tanning routine!) - It's a renowned fact that our summer make-up bag is a complete overhaul; foundation gets darker, lips get brighter, more is less with highlighting and brow game is stronger than ever. So to help you start making that winter to summer transition I thought I would run over some of my personal favourite products that will no doubt start making an appearance in my make-up bag as the warmer weather surfaces.

Foundation

Summer foundation is all about that dew. Gone are the days of matte shine free bases - its time give your face that much needed glow. Full coverage girls don't worry - these foundations are all fairly medium/full.

 

Highlight

That gorgeous glow is a spring/summer statement - use a liquid based highlighter and mix in with your foundation to allow that radiance to escape from beneath your skin. Finish by swiping a compact highlighter on the tops of your cheek bones.
